11 Sep SUB-SECRETARY IRARRÁZABAL PRESIDES ITS FIRST ALTA LEY DIRECTORY
On Tuesday, September 10th, the Under Secretary of Mining, Ricardo Irarrázabal presided for the first time the board of the Alta Ley Corporation, which was the sixth meeting of the year and was attended by the executive president of the Mauro Valdés institution, Diego Hernández from Sonami, Joaquín Villarino of the Mining Council, Javier Ruiz of AMTC of the University of Chile, Andrés Costa from Minnovex, and Sergio Hernández from Aprimin, among others.
During the session, administrative issues were reviewed, and the challenges of the nuclei of the new Mining Roadmap that was updated over the past year were reviewed, work that is being completed these days and that is being presented during this second semester to the ecosystem.
The new nuclei that were incorporated last year are: Explorations, New Uses of Copper and Green Mining. It was commented that currently the main initiatives that are being worked from Alta Ley have to do with Green Mining and Smart Mining.
Finally, a brief summary was made of the progress of the tender for the Chilean Institute of Clean Technologies, which should then begin the RFP stage.
