09 Dic Alta Ley participates in the planning session of the Mining Cluster of Southern Peru

In order to evaluate the actions carried out during its first year of operation and plan for next year, the Mining Cluster of Southern Peru, an organization that seeks to promote a pole of technological innovation in the south of that country, held a meeting in Arequipa where Mauro Valdés participated.

One of the actions carried out during this year was the launch of the first portfolio of challenges of the open innovation program, which featured 8 prioritized challenges of the mining operations of Anglo American, Hudbay Peru and Southern Peru. Technological exchange missions were also carried out in Chile and Australia and the Study of Characterization of Peruvian Suppliers of the Mining Industry began.

For next year, the launch of the second portfolio of prioritized challenges of the open innovation program is planned and to promote the development of the technology necessary for the implementation of the first eight challenges that were prioritized.
