17 Oct Alta Ley participated in the Seminar «Scientific Challenges in Mining»

On Tuesday, October 16th, the seminar “Scientific Challenges in Mining” was held, organized by the Innovation Center of the Catholic University and whose objective was to gather different representatives of the mining field to identify problems of a scientific-technological nature present in mining.

On the occasion our manager Jonathan Castillo made a presentation on the current scenario in mining, marked by global mega trends and how their materialization will require intensive use of copper and minerals. He also analyzed how Chile, a leading country in this resource, can take advantage of its benefits and technical capabilities to be a relevant player in this new global context and the challenges we have to face in order to maintain our leadership in the industry.
